Stop Flash - Description Visit Our E-shop Download Page Last News Technical Support Page Contact Us

Most of the time you will not even notice that « Stop-Flash » is installed and working in your vehicle. The device is designed to be invisible and its presence comes to place only when there is a danger speed trap zone near you or when you overpass the speed limit you have manually adjusted.

« Stop-Flash » gives you high-security at low cost.
  1. Just place « Stop-Flash » somewhere inside your vehicle. You can place it anywhere you want!
  2. Place the specific « Stop-Flash » aerial on the roof of your vehicle or somewhere else so it can have direct access to the sky (for instance on the front window of the car) and connect it to « Stop-Flash ». The aerial is small and elegant, so no one will notice its presence on the vehicle. It is magnetic for easier placement on the vehicle's roof. It also comes with a really long cable that will allow you to place the aerial wherever you want.
    Note: The « Stop-Flash » aerial is included in the « Stop-Flash » package.
  3. Then plug it into your 12 V cigar lighter or 24 V socket with the provided cables and adapter.
  4. Wait for some seconds so « Stop-Flash » will initialize its database. The green light will turn on.
  5. « Stop-Flash » is now properly installed and you are protected.
  6. Whenever you near a dangerous zone or overpass the manually adjusted speed limit « Stop-Flash » will warn you by emitting visual and audible signals.
The « Stop-Flash » areas of protection

« Stop-Flash » provides protection all over Europe. The speed trap zones database is constantly updated via Internet so more and more regions will be added to your area of protection.

The way « Stop-Flash » works is different depending on the speed trap zone - whether it is fixed or mobile.

  1. Fixed speed traps - When you near the fixed trap (between 500 m and 1500 m) « Stop-Flash » will warn you that it nears by an audio signal that will become more intense as you near the trap. On the screen, the remaining to the speed trap distance will be shown. In the 350 m zone, the screen will display the speed limit that you don't have to overpass. Once you pass over the fixed speed trap, « Stop-Flash » will return to its normal work mode. The device will detect the direction of your movement and it will stop warning you at the very first moment you pass through the speed trap, not like other devices that continue beeping until you drive at least 100 meters after the trap.

  2. Mobile speed traps - Each mobile speed trap is conventionally divided to two zones. Think of the mobile speed trap as a circle. The "danger" zone is the initial zone of the speed trap - when you enter in it « Stop-Flash » will start warning you and will display the distance left until the end of the speed trap in the direction of your movement. When you near the central point of the circle, (near the trap) you enter in the "Attention" zone of the speed trap - « Stop-Flash » starts beeping twice faster warning you that you are near the central point of the trap zone. The screen will display the speed limit for this zone. When you exit the "Attention" zone you are still in the "danger" zone of the mobile speed trap and « Stop-Flash » will continue warning you by beeping normally. When you exit the "Danger" zone, « Stop-Flash » returns to its normal work mode.
« Stop-Flash » signals of protection
« Stop-Flash » has several different warning signals depending on the case.

A) The standard
« Stop-Flash » signal indicating that the device is turned on and working properly is a constant green light. There are no beeps.

B) If you overpass a manually adjusted speed limit the green « Stop-Flash » light will start flashing, warning you to slow down the speed. The device will start beeping.

C) If you near a fixed speed trap zone or enter in the "Danger" zone for a mobile speed trap the green « Stop-Flash » light will begin flashing. The device will also start beeping, but in a different way than in case B)

D) If you enter the "Attention" zone for a mobile speed trap the red « Stop-Flash » light will start flashing. The device will start beeping twice faster than in the "Danger" zone. This way you can easily distinguish the « Stop-Flash » type of alert.

Note: You can turn off or adjust the audio volume.
